I used to AX in a '93 RX-7 R1 I had...back then I swapped between v710's & BFG R1's. I actually found the R1's to be a little hard for it.
I am impressed by you taking out one of our beasts and I bet people were impressed by your times!

Thanks for the props everyone and I did enjoy it. But as long as it's my daily driver, I can't put some serious rubber on it; but I may try that switching the front & rear tires trick though. Even then, I will just be doing it for fun though because some how the SCCA decided to put these BIG sedans in the same class as the Miata, RX8 and 350Z. All things considered (unfamiliar charactoristics & mediocre tires) I think I did OK, 9 out of 18 in class & 43 out of 67 overall. But the car was definately a crowd pleaser. Maybe its because people aren't used to seeing a 4200lb sedan nimbly maneuvering between cones.

Last year in the S600 I finished 2nd out of 15
Pretty wide open course thank God
Although it was in a STREET TIRE only class, but I did beat 6 mustangs and a few camero's,
As the above have said, Victoracers are hard to beat on a heavy car. And DON'T use Hoosiers as they flat spot VERY easy on a heavy car and then they are toast
On a side note, my ex crew chief told all the other drivers in my class to simply throw their keys out, due to true embarrassment
Anyway, keep up the GREAT work, and doing what these cars were meant to do, PLAY!!!!
