Vents in the Hood.

Is there anyone besides Vorsteiner that makes hoods with vents in them? Not the middle vent, but vents on the sides of the hood.

Cheap, ugly if done wrong, but fully functional if you are looking for ventilation http://www.raceace.com/pictures.html As for aftermarket hoods, I've been searching and have had no real hits. I don't think there is a large enough market for our cars.

This is one option...

Have a reputable body shop dremel you the Brabus W211 EV12 vents on your hood.

Or you could buy a new hood and have them go at it there.

Here is what they look like on my friend Mike's CLS. I hope he doesn't mind that I use this pic

Looks very good BenzoBoi. Does it require repainting the hood?

If I was doing that I wouldn't even think twice about repainting. I'd probably just get it sanded or blasted before I even started...

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure.

Hahaha that makes a lot more sense...Peter is awesome people. He sponsors our auto club's forum here and he's super helpful with any of my dumb questions that for some reason or another never lead to me buying anything from him... When I get the P-car I'm definitely getting my track wheels from him..
