Not scared JYoo. I knew what I was getting into when buying the S4. I debuted it on here last weekend but have owned it for roughly 5 months already
That is actually a long time for me.
Since I have owned it, and had a newer tranny and clutch installed, which was a minor expense
I will say that owning a S4 requires a descent amount of up keep, luckily there are an abundance of used parts to be had which softens the blow.

Funny - I have the E55, and an 2000 S4 that my son drives. Just took the motor out two bent valves so a total rebuild of the motor since it's out and a two BIGGER turbo's along with a couple of other go fast goodies are going in along with a new clutch. (can't wait)
Got a lot of haters with the S4, car can kick some but on the street and motor along as a DD. I told my son to ask the haters who can drive their car five hours in a snow storm to go snowmobiling.
It's only a matter of time the E55 will have to get the mods.

There are alot of haters but a stage 3 S4 will run a bolt on E55 pretty hard. Look on dragtimes.com and see for yourself. They may require alot of up keep but these cars are going for $8k-$14K which is ALOT of car for that cheap of a price.

Damn, Nagaro Blue S4, brings back so many memories!
Used to have a friend that would spank everything, including exotics in 1/4 races, with relatively simple mods, the way you can just spool up, drop the clutch and LAUNCH that thing is almost unfair.
Love the seat combo too.
