Do these numbers add up? 25% compensation for wheel HP and no base dyno.

"DYNO-COMP THROWS THE BOOK AT THIS RENNTECH BUILT E55 AMG

We just had to go big with our latest Mercedes Benz E55 AMG Build. And by big, we mean huge RENNtech modifications, coupled with our world renowned dyno tuning. As you know by now, this combination yields nothing but the finest performance gains.

So just what did we do to gain an additional 175 Horsepower and 205 Torque at the flywheel? Well apart from the superior tuning and impeccable installation, take a gander at the modifications listed below.

  1. RENNTech 180mm supercharger pulley
  2. RENNTech 82mm throttle body with high flow supercharger bellows
  3. RENNTech Stainless Steel Headers
  4. RENNTech Intercooler heat exchanger upgrade with high flow pump.
  5. RENNTech Carbon Fiber High Flow Air BOX
  6. RENNTech ECU Upgrade with Dyno-Comp tuning on the dyno
Wheel HP is now 535 that equates to about 670-675 HP at the flywheel.
Wheel TQ is a blistering 581 that equates to 720-725 TQ at the flywheel.

Factory rated HP is 469 and TQ is 516

Results:
670 HP
720 TQ

+175 HP at the flywheel
+205 TQ at the Flywheel

As many of you know, Dyno-Comp is also RENNtech Mercedes Benz of Arizona, so naturally we have been clocking in the overtime hours when it comes to custom tuning and installation on some of Arizona's best Mercedes Benz vehicles. We encourage you to prove your power and are now accepting NEW appointments to build the Mercedes Benz of your dreams.

GO AHEAD...PROVE YOUR POWER!"

My mods are extremely similar, even have the CF Air box.. My baseline without any mods on the same dyno was 424hp/464trq. I usually use 18% compensation. Some say 20. 25% is a bit high.

Wow! I have more mods than most of you but yet only put down 514 rwhp and 595 rwtq. I'm just glad to see more and more 55's rising up and representing some EURO powa!!!!

To the OP, I could totally see you making that kind of power with the mods listed. I have several Renntech parts on my car and haven't had any issues. Good luck and get some track numbers!

believe me, it is nice, when am cruising aat 80km and i hit the kick down button, its like someone kicked me. you really feel a kick in the drivetrain @@.

now i just press it gently to third and then back to seconed to avoid that sudden power. don't want to break my defrential >< lool

if i keep the car, i will try a drag in YAS Marina circuit

So 135 WHP gain sounds right in-line with those mods, if the base Dyno was around 400 whp.

That's because 99% of the Dyno #'s reported on here use extremely HIGH correction factors, FAR surpassing the highest reading DynoJets...(I know I've been victim to more than my share) The part that gets me is guys hanging their puffed up Dyno #'s in their Sig like a badge of some kind

I've been to dozens of different Dyno's & seen HUGE variance in #s w/SAME mods etc... The ONLY true # that should be put in ANY Sig is a 1/4 ET/Trap other than that it's a JOKE

Kleemanns Dyno shows Crank HP/TQ ONLY w/set correction factor, readings aren't @ wheels...Unless they recently ripped out there entire Dyno setup

My numbers were given to me measured at the wheels from Cory on my last visit down there in March.

Bro the Kleemann Dyno does measure @ wheels but is set to pre-determined drive train loss calc, & the #'s you see are actually converted to BHP or Crank HP #'s this is @ Kleemann USA their dyno has ALWAYS been setup like this...

No way are your mods a flys ball hair from 600 rwhp... Don't belive it? ask ANY OG here, or go to another shop w/properly set DynoJet/DynoDynamics you'll see

From Kleemann site...In other words the #'s are fed into their Dyno then calc ALL different conditions etc to give CRANK estimate #'s

All the figures KLEEMANN uses are derived in our in house dynamometer test cell where atmospheric conditions are precisely controlled and monitored. The dynamometer cell at KLEEMANN uses state of the art equipment that has been certified by the Danish department of weights and measures. KLEEMANN also uses performance figures from independent automobile testing laboratories and automotive publications.

It's all good guys. I honestly believe everyone is just using whatever dyno is most convenient to them. The numbers really don't mean much but as long as the same dyno is used for each and every mod it will be a very useful tool. No matter what anyone says, thinks, or believes all dyno's will vary....no matter what. I've dynode anywhere from low 400's to 565 with my most recent numbers at 514. I've ran 10's with all the dyno numbers I just provided...just some thought.

I've learned that arguing about dyno numbers is truly pointless and most conversation will escalate into something stupid. I shouldn't have posted my comment about having more mods and dyno'ing lower than most on here. Let's just all have fun and post whatever are dyno machines gives us.

The place I got my most recent dyno number (514 rwhp) at had a car that just ran 11.6 @ 122 and only dynode 403 rwhp. Which number is most important to him, well, I'm sure the 11.6 is. Dyno numbers are great for bragging rights, ego boosters, a tool, and tuning.

Your car seems very strong and I'm sure it's a beast..... Any car tuned by Jeremy has my respect and I know it's done right.

when he tuned it @ first when i had the 168mm pulley 80mm TB and short VRP headers, i gained more than 100rwhp. i installed the 190mm and i gained about 45rwhp after re-tuning.

my car was weak compairing to other stock cars

It's what I meant from the get go... Wasn't implying Kleemann has an Engine Dyno
