HELP! NEW SUPERCHARGER PULLEY STILL NO POWER!!

Ok to make this short and sweet had typical chirp great power ,no more chirp no power ,changed out clutch pulley reshim to specs still no supercharger engagement even when cold at start up. So that leds me to rule out the intercooler pump any suggestion would be great also any easy ways to test pump does it run constant or computer controlled thanks again to everyone you Guys are great.MISSING MY SUPERCHARGER !

Just to make sure, did you reconnect the sc engagement wire? It's a little wire that come out the sc pulley.

If someone you know has Star, there is a test in it for supercharger actuation.

Least it gets you one step closer.

Thanks jakpro. Forest every time I hook it up it just spins it off so I just tieit up in a bow but thanks .

huh? Forest is asking if you plugged in your SC? there is a single wire just to the left and slightly under the snout of the blower. if its not plugged in your not going to engage the SC
Is your check engine light on? is there a warning in the gauge cluster? What happened prior to you losing the power to the SC? were you doing any other maintenance prior to this happening?

SORRY Forest thought you were giving me a hard time yes wire is pluged in .Sneakyneon you are right and checked it ,no warning lite just finished valve cover breathers regasket ,K&N filters ,sneaky ecu reset ,Mobil one oil change ,belts all pulleys, both tensioners,still had supercharger running HARD! then didnt even notice just no power. Installed new supercharger clutch pulley shim to spec still no power going to test pump to be sure but if the car is cold it should work Thanks agian everybody for all the help any other ideas are greatly apreciated

Wish it wasn't such a major pain to swap those babies out. I would say pop the other one on and see if she works again. Then you would at least know it was your new clutch or something.

Believe me I know.....much easier said then done swapping that monster out.

That Star test would sure be cool to see if you could have someone stand up front and hear it when it engages.

Then you would at least know that it in fact was being triggered by the ECU to engage.

That would be nice . I could change it out I have had it on and off 4 times just to make sure .I may Be forced to go to the dealer and have it checked havent been ther yet so I guess no choice Thanks jakpro!

Hey Dr, If I can ask you a quick question since you are getting plenty of experience with it. Are you jacking up the motor to get the huge bolt out or is there another way.

I removed the fan assembly, strap on the clutch to hold it, hit it with the impact. Easy enough, never raised the motor.

Good deal. Thanks Pearl!

The recommended Benz method is to pull the motor mounts and jack the motor up. I always thought that was a bit of overkill.

Hey Jakpro I had a 24 metric box wrench added a pole for breaker bar that allowed the room needed without removing fans not perfect but worked just fine.
