Rear reservoir plumbing question

So I was toying around with the idea of install a rear cooling reservoir. How do you all plumb it in as in the direction of the flow off coolant.
S/C heat exchanger > Additional pump > rear reservoir > front heat exchanger > IC pump > heat exchanger.
Is the above mentioned flow of coolant correct?

haters crazy
If you are adding the rear resevoir to add ice for the track I would do res > pump > intercooler > he > res. That way you are not heating the ice water through the HE before it goes to the sc.

thanks for the input. that makes sense.
what would be the route if i wanted to increase coolant volume for on road use. Just short intervals of WOT. Or is it even worth it?
