HRE wheels has a stress crack...gonna refinish...need opinions and photochop skills
Just like the title says,I discovered that one of my HRE wheels has a stress crack on the inner barrel approx 3/4 of an inch going from the lip towards the center. Funny thing, is that its not leaking any air and its not bent. For all that money, this shouldn't happen. But I must say, HRE seems to want to stand behind their product and was very concerned and wanted to take care of the situation.
In any case, since I have to get the wheel repaired, I might as well refinish all four. Now here is where I need help. Im tired of the whole polished look. Here is what im thinking:
Option 1: gunmetal face, polished lip, 1/4 gunmetal pinstripe on lip edge
Option 2: Silver color matched face, gunmetal lip, silver pinstripe on lip edge
Option 3: Silver face but polished windows on face, polished lip (pinstripe optional)
Option 4: Polished face with gunmetal or silver windows, polished lip (pinstripe optional)
There are many options available and im having a hard time deciding. If anyone can photochop these ideas on the car...i would appreciate it.
Give me all you opinions ASAP as i want to get the process started on Monday!!!!!

Out Of Control!
Opt # 3.
I just got my set back from refinishing the whole thing (brushed aluminum w/ clearcoat and polished lip) and looks awesome! Vince did a pretty good job.

Stay away from gunmetal wheels. I've had two sets and they really look like silver wheels covered in brake dust. They just look like nothing special.
If I were you I'd get brushed centers with chrome lip.

was searching thru the wheel section to get some ideas...and here is a members car (he's selling his wheels), but he's got the whole wheel color matched...looks good and really aggressive. If I were to do it, mine would be silver (same color as the car) faced, with the same color outer lip as his,,,what u guys think?
