After many questions (thanks all) and thoughts of SL vs. E... the more practical ride surfaced. Wicked, but at least seats the family.

Found the perfect one for me... 2008, Indium Grey, Black interior- loaded with P030, Pano, P2, parking sensors and all the goodies. Local lease return, CPO'd and cherry.

Have 10 days to decide on the MBZ warranty or aftermarket.... need to do some searching...

Congrats! How long do you plan to keep the car? If you actually plan to keep it and drive it for more than a few years, I would get the Mercedes CPO warranty. Having that security blanket is essential for most of us.

Great car, you'll love the performance package (P30)

If you have the option to go with Mercedes warranty, then don't even bother with aftermarket.

Nice Ride man! i got the same but in iridium silver.

GO WITH THE MERC CPO WARRANTY! it's sooo worth it on this car man.

I had the suede sunroof liner that was rattling, and that's kinda unnacceptable for a car that was near 100k brand new, and only 2 years old, woulda cost me more than 800 for the part alone, dealer did it for free, and even showed me the old one they were sending back. Just my experience on that warranty, I'd say they like to take care of these cars.

IndiumGrey63-

Figured you'd like the color combo! Love it as well....

based on your signature maybe you can shed some light... Do you use an old generation iPod so it charges in the glove box? My 4th gen nano plays but doesn't charge. I have a separate thread going but thought I'd ask....

Thanks - not too many of us Indium Greys running around.

Yes - I have a 3rd generation Nano. I never touch it as it charges automatically. If I pull it out of the MB, it has a full charge.

Enjoy the ride. I'm envious that you have the P030 package!

I"m going to murder the spelling, but I think it's Scosche, makes an adapter you put on your iPod adapter in the glove box and it will charge all the new generations as well as playing. THey sell it at the Apple store, you just have to ask for it.

Nice Ride too..!!!! Wish I had P30

Tommy Boy - couldn't grind them much but, by letting it sit for ~ 3weeks they came down a few $1,000 - I got if for $54.5K- even threw in the blue tooth puck since I was wanting more of a discount With it as clean as it is, locally owned so no traveling or shipping I felt it was worth it.

Scosche ordered from Amazon, $23 delivered.... Thanks Citylightva

I'll post results when I receive it. Better than buying a new/used iPod,

This may help in my boat as well. I have a pioneer head and it doesn't charge the iPod - hadn't gotten around to addressing that one yet. Although Amazon claimed it may not work with all Pioneer heads... 2 birds with one adapter would certainly be nice...

Vanditz - Congrats as well.... Mine has 30K miles on it... not as few as I would have liked but the color, option combo won me over! Besides, I have 210K on my E320 coupe so I figure 30K is just a break in period...

Nice... Vey fair.. When my E55 was totaled on 12/1, I bought the E63 on 12/10/09 for 61.5K plus 4K for the CPO. All options but Dynamic Seats (dammit), plus had a killer $1,500.00 clear bra on it. Car had 17K miles when I bought it. Here's the ad from YT:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msTb4J7e7Ak

Was the best deal I could find at the time, and IMO, $$ well spent, but prices have dropped. With the CPO, it's covered til 12/2014. No worries for me, and PPMBZ has always done me right. Lots of good folks there, plus they are a Kleemann dealer..

Only downside IMO, were the Bridgestone Potenza's. I prefer the Conti's.
