Will I need a tune if I get a heat exchanger and Johnson Pump?

The heat / humidity is brutal during the summers in the south, so I'm thinking I might pick up a heat exchanger and Johnson pump to keep the supercharger cool. Will I need a tune after I get these installed? Also, does anyone have experience w/ PLM heat exchangers?

I definitely need a heat exchanger and Johnson pump with the super heat here in Arizona. It was 113 degrees today and that is normal.

If you do not mind me asking. What is the next step up after getting a heat exchanger and Johnson cm30 pump for cooling? I think I read something about two pumps but is that a lot more advantageous than using just one? thx.

No tune needed, and I have PLM and Johnson CM30. The PLM was not quite a bolt in on my cls( bolt spacing on bumper support is different than a E55), but should be a fairly straight forward affair on an E55. Quality is great and price can't be beat.

I do not think I am that good to install a tank. Are there any other methods beside the tank or will a eurocharged heat exchanger and johnson pump suffice if I am not tracking? Thanks.

Just what I was looking for. Does $450 shipped for both (brand new) seem like a good deal? It sounds good to me given than other heat exchangers I've seen are $500 new + $150 for the Johnson pump.

Honestly man, I just have the updated stock bosch pump and a stock HE and with my mods I never have had the SC shut off.

Doesn't mean that I won't be upgrading the cooling system but it hasn't troubled me thus far...

It was 90+ a week ago and the car ran strong as ever

I would definitely think that a bigger HE and johnson pump will more than fit your needs. Anyone else can tell me wrong but I think that the rear box is for the gnarcore of the guys on this board

Thanks tgoss. I am not that hardcore lol......... because i do not have the money. I think the johnson pump I will do, but I am confused on if I should get the PLM because it is cheaper or the eurocharged. I know the PLM uses air to cool and the eurocharged liquid, but are they equal performance wise? Also, the eurocharged is an addition to the stock, but the PLM replaces the stock so there is only one correct?
