1000hp Gallardo or 1000hp F430. What would you choose?
Not gonna happen this year or if the economy collapses like nearly all major indicators are now saying buuuuuuut....
Ever since my wife rented me a Gallardo for my birthday I can't get the V10 sound out of my head. Was getting ready to snag (again next year or so) a cheaper Gallar and throw in the Underground Racing TT's, then they go and announce that they now can put out a 1000hp F430.
If you had to choose between one or the other, what would you pick?
Holy cow. Talk about decisions.
Still think I am gonna go Lambo. Then I can stop doing the V10 sound around the house and driving the family crazy.

How about an M6 with a G-Power twin SC kit as you still get the V10 sound, it is stealth, and will break FAR less.
That being said, I would go for the Lambo as I personally think it is more durable and am not a fan of Ferrari reliability (or lack there of). And yes, I have owned one and all my friends who own or have owned them have had the same experience. Wonderful cars but the harder you mash the gas pedal, the faster things break....it is the wonderful sound of spending money F-car style!
While the Gallardo is not a supreme model of reliability, it is far more German designed then Italian designed and friends that have them have not had too many issues.

One further comment that you have probably already thought about...the AWD on the Gallardo is a massive advantage if you are pushing power levels into the stratosphere.

F430's are more reliable then Gallardos, I work with both dealers, Gallardos break all the time and they are more expensive to fix too.
The Gallardo is the worst car to own and it is not a DD but if you drive both I can almost guarantee you would take the G.
I'm just hope I come to some money soon so I can buy a LP560 and send it to UG.. lol

Tough decision.... I think I would eventually go for the Gallardo just because UR's package has been released and tested on the Gallardo for quite some time now.
They need to get hold of an SL65 Black Series and make a 1000 hp Mercedes

If I was doing that I'd get a Gallardo, even though stock to stock I'd take an F430 every time. I'd probably rather have a Scud than a TT Gallardo anyways. God those things are fast as F**K though..!!! Prepare for any other car to feel like a freakin turtle..! LOL...

Easy Choice! Gallardo! All wheel drive rules and it is a well proven 1000hp format.. Saw two UR Gallardo`s on ebay for only 120k range..

When you decide I will add something special to either car.
All you really need is a few thousand feet lower altitude, hehe

V12-Biturbo
SPEEDRIVEN/Marcin's already DONE that w/Soulsearcher's SL600
Shortly there will be a small handfull of SL600's driving around w/750-800 RWHP = roughly 1000 crank HP NOT rwhp, but more than enough for a rwd sled.

I was torn between the 430 and Gallardo. I chose the Gallardo and glad I did
AWD-LOOKS BETTER-LESS MAINTENANCE- BETTER DRIVING EXPERIENCE.
Both cars are awesome.
