Question for the Lowered guys...
How many of you rub in the front when turning into a incline (ramp). I'm only lowered slightly and whenever I turn into a driveway at anything faster than a crawl, the top of the wheels will rub the fender. Over time I've noticed that my fenders are starting to warp because of this.
If I were to guess, I'd bet your problem is the tire size. It should be a 245/30/20.
Im lowered heaps and dont rub the wheels, although trying to avoid scraping the lip spoiler is a different story. Perhaps you can do what I do in those situations and just hit the raise button?

I still take it slow going up driveways.

I can only add ones suggestion to all lowered cars when climbing up a ramp/driveway dont drive straight at it( 2 wheels a a time) but rather go at say a 45 degree angle turning in that way one wheel climbs at a time. I've found this has helped me quite a bit cos my front never scrapes, no rubbing and my diffuser fins clear just fine. Don't know my current measurements but current "raised" setting is the stock "normal" ride height at standstill. Also on 18" and stock tire sizes. Hope this helps

I'm running 19s with the correct size tires and my car will always scrape the fender if I pull into a driveway incorrectly. As said earlier come at it at a 45 degree angle and try to keep your wheels pointing as straight as possible. The rubbing occurs when you are turning sharp and the suspension compresses.
I think this has something to do with the W211 fender/suspension design because I see so many lowered W211s with fender damage.
Does anyone know somewhere in socal to repair this kind of damage to the fender? A talented paintless dent guy?

yup - use the raise button -- i got tired of scraping the middle of my car on aggressive speed bumps -- now i am in the habit of using the button - no problems
Yep. My passenger side tire rubs the fender sometimes with stock wheels and tire size. The driver side doesn't ever rub though.
I have measured to see if they are the same height a few times and it always checks out good. Not sure why its just the passenger side.
