Engine cooling, DIY on how to increase fan speed
Go into the AC fan menu
go to option 10 and turn up the fan speed on the AC rad.
use the right side temp buttons and press the temp increase button to go upto 99.

Neither the off nor AC buttons work on my 06. I remember getting into the menu once but can't remember how I did it.

Try the "Auto" button
I believe for 06 its the driver's side "Auto" button. Press and hold that for a few seconds (5??) and it brings up the menu.
I'm assuming that holds true for late model 05's 06's and 63's

If I remember correctly, the REST function was only present on 03/04 models...
Anyone care to share what exactly this will do? Just increase the speed of the radiator fan in the front?

I just did this, and yes I could hear the fan get noticeably louder. It was too loud at 99, so I put it back down to 66 and it was bearable.
Yes, it resets itself every time I restart so only so useful.

HOw did you guys go about this cos I've had mine raised for months now and it's never reset. What was the procedure you both did?

2) Set both front AC banks to 72
3) Held rest for 5 seconds
4) Selected option 10 on the left
5) Turned the right number up to 66-99
Is there another step to save your changes?

I did mine in star under correction programming. I think the ac panel is only good for readout and temporary activation for diagnosis so I wouldn't expect anything you change in there to stick after a restart

I just discovered something interesting. If you do the above settings, and press and hold the "0"/off button for about a few seconds then exit the menu with the AC rest button prior to turning off the ignition, the settings will stay. If you turn off the ignition in the midst of being in the menu, the settings will reset.
And Option 20 seems to be the thermotronic LCD display brightness instead of whatever the have put in the forums. What I don't understand is that the settings can go from 0-99 then beyond that is a number with a small block like this -> "█00", "█01". It seems to be like a number 1 the █ is representing. But why wouldn't they just put a 1 instead of a █ ? When it hits "█01" the setting is super bright
but the night auto dimming doesn't work.

In my 03, it basically runs the fans as soon as you put it on 10/99. The moment you turn it back to 10/00, the fans stop.
Its nice to do this while staging at the track so my temps dont go into the mid 90C's, they hold at 85C.
