i've been running nearly the same set-up as your friend for quite a while so i agree that it's louder but the e's mufflers are a chambered design where the cls's are straight through so the e can never sound that crazy without changing out or at least modifying the mufflers.

After getting my mid section done and having the kleemann high flow cats in place of the sec cats, I thought that was loud. But after seeing those vids. Wow! Crazy loud but it does sound sweet. Just a tad loud IMO.

yeah its loud when at WOT -- but it doesnt seem too bad at normal driving...

I wouldnt get the supersprint -- probably not much difference except your wallet --- Why dont you try and swap the mufflers with an E55 -- E55 is quieter... I am sure someone would do it.

i didnt expect alot of mods -- its a vette with a bigger engine also with a supercharger -- all his mods probably cost less than the 82mmTB w/install

It's not excessive, but heads/cam/headers is a pretty decent chunk of change even on a Cadillac. The throttle body/ECU/cold air/pullies are the cheap stuff IMO. Still, very impressive to run 10's with that relatively small list of mods. Fast car for sure.
