@ KLR CLS did you do the primary delete with the shorties? And if you did what was the cost of install? The price I was quoted for Kleenans from Fab Speed was almost 4K for that much I might as well get L/T's. The 42whp was that with the mid pipe work?
4k is crazzy,thats like 2500 in labor?
maybe the quoted you long tube headers for a e63

i have had 3 VRP pulleys in the past and they all have had wobble issues. i have sopken to victor numerous times in 2009 and he assured me that the wobble is normal, but i didnot like any sort of wobble on my crankshaft. I told AWOL also about the wobble and mentioned that my car ran fine with the wobble but it was my choice to take if off. Originally Posted by KLR CLS

The Dampner is an SFI spec billet steel peice and likely a better Balancer then OEM MB. Just use some blue loctite on the SC pulley bolts and torque to 35 lb/ft and it'll be fine. I am regretting not installing it now since I am just not enjoying this 185 much now in the August heat.
From what i know the gen 1 VRP pulleys were the best. KLR CLS, in fact the last VRP pulley i had on my car was made right after the one you sold becasue my serial number on the pulley was one higher than yours.
here is a video of the wobble.

^^^ That exact same wobble is the reason I am in the process of changing my pulley right now as well. Just didn't seem like a good thing and I didn't want any damage to the crank because of it.

i showed the wobble to a dozen engineers (automotive and non automotive engineers) they all said it doesnot look right, even if it is performing well.

on thing i am noticing, when i had the 178mm pulley after 3 - 4 back to back runs, engine temp used to go 1 line more = 90c, but now it doesn't with the 190mm. unless i keep the REV high for a minute.
so i think my IATs are high which leads it to pull timing = less burning --> engine temp doesn't rise.
i am really considering going back to 178 + LT + CAMS, so that i don't lose any HP but reduce IATs a bit.
i know some guys are runing 200mm with cams, ported head, LT,HE, etc but their cars are not that fast and i do beat them with my car. which clearly their IATs are high.

I said I would report back after changing tunes on car.
@ AWOL well I have a ASP 180 old style pulley. I bought a flash loader from TTM at first I thought it was a little pricey but you have to pay to play. I already had another tune on my car from another company that I have been reading bad things about I don't like to gamble I have been down the road of bad tuners with my 911TT so I squeezed the trigger on the new tune. Let's just say it took me less than 10 Min's to read my file send it to Jeremy. I checked my email a few minutes later read instructions on how to load the file on flasher. Went up to my car flashed car; then I started the car a little nervous of course. I backed out of garage let her warm up drove down the street everything seemed the same I wasn't sure if I just wasted my money. Well drove to the nearest on ramp and punched it let's just the little yellow triangle started flashing oh I forgot to say I was at roll around 40 to 45 MPH. That might not be a big deal to some but my car didn't do that with the other tune I had. Perfect "10" on the flash loader easy to do and you can do it yourself and no down time on your car with pulling ECU and sending it out. Thank you Bruce for showing me the light and helping walk into it.

It is all about having confidence in your tuning!

You are very aware of the HORROR stories that have been coming out about the blown engines in the last 9-12 months from your previous tuner.

We need to do a Quaife and that little triangle won't flash again!
