Just wanted to share the awesome day I had at our yearly 1 mile event.

My car went 180.1 to the mile! This was on pump gas and a Kleemann shelf map. The only road car that beat that was and R35, dont really know what he had done but it was quick!

The car was very consistent and run perfect all day and really want to congratulate Kleemann/Renntech/Floored Fab for making excellent proven products.

BTW, either my launch got better or It looks like I picked up almost 3mph just by running Ice, lol, used 30 pounds of it!

I was thinking cams and a custom map but I really don't know if I should as the car runs so well and it clearly makes good power. Your thoughts and advice would be appreciated.

If your car is running so strong and consistent now, I personally would fight the urge to mess with it....kind of tough to do when you are a modaholic.

Nah, don't go cams bro. Stick with what you got and enjoy the healthy beast! They would have helped you a bit on that mile run but otherwise, just not needed for the hp they give you.

I think my first run without was 177.x maybe 178 cant remember now but it certainly helped allot.

Chaps Paul is being uber modest! He won the award for the fastest modded German entry (completely demolishing a chipped 997T cab with exhaust which managed 173mph). And was 0.3 mph off the quickest time of the day!!!

Also he handed me a proper roasting...!!! My car ran 170.x best and have to say a tad disappointed. I had an exhaust leak develop but not sure it cost me top end as initially I did not notice the exhaust leak. We ran against each other and once he got grip he moved away and kept on going... That's one super strong car he has there.

Now that custom Kleemann tune........THAT might be something to look into.

You can try it and if not, Cor would flash you back in a heartbeat. Be cool to see what Kleemann could do on race gas.

Congratulations Paul on a kick a$$ run! Your car is truly a beast and I can't wait to hear what kind of 1/4 mile numbers you'll put up. I don't come on here much anymore but a run like this is very well deserving. Great job and way represent the MB community!
