W211 Window Tint?
I want to tint my e63's windows...but it has the factory blue tint in the windows. Will it look bad if i was to tint it or will it look like a mirror. If you have tinted over the blue tint, please post pictures.

Be sure to do a little test on your rear window first. I put the same tint on that I used on the back side windows (pretty dark) and it's so dark I don't use the shade any more. In fact the poor rear visibilty gives the speed police a real advantage when coming up on me. I'm going to have it redone.

IMHO if you dont mind spending a few extra bucks.
Huper ceramic film is the best for heat and IR blocking. I like it because the film is not black and it retains much of the blue tint. And the night visibility is clear as a bell looking out of the film. Not so with the cheaper black film.

This and this or any very high quality film...I have Madico Charcool and I think Race-MX does too...for a 20% it has great night visibility and doesn't really look ridiculous dark in daylight. It blocks a lot out though. I thought about the Madico Wincos, which is basically the same as the Huper Ceramic, but the next owner can go get it himself

Guys, are all E63's (2008 in particular) tinted blue or is it part of an option package ?
A little OT, I get different search results whether the pano roof is a stand alone option or part of the PII package ? It seems every E63 I see w/PII has the pano roof.
