how much is a basic system? how much to install?
any so cal shops that could do the full install?
Summer is almost gone.. but methanol injection could be kept just for the "what if's"

Stage 1 is $249. I am not sure I can post a link, but just seach devils own water injection.. Go to "Make" select "Mercedes", then either option (regardless of what you drive) The kits are universal.
The install will run you a few bucks unless you are super handy like these maniacs
ACG San Diego (Sponser) can do your install. Tell them Dane sent you (They might make you leave)

One thing I dont see in the DIY.. How did you route the tube at/under the S/C? I see where you put your nozzle, but once you flip the SC over and reassemble, it is under the SC.. I am just curious how the tube is kept from melting into a glob
Again, great write up

Is it working well? I have a kit on order, and will do this (as mentioned) to maintain decent IAT's. I am not going to tune into this. One question I had: With a 50/50 mix, I assume my A/F will get richer. Is that ok?
If I am correct, and tune to comensate for the richness, then if/when I run out of mix, it will be lean. I am pretty sure I can keep this in check, but I am sure you have already thought this through. Thanks Shardul!

yes the kit works well. With a 50/50 mix you will run a bit rich. Right now we are using meth just to keep the IATs in control, not using it to raise octane level etc etc. Maybe in the future i can have jerry tune for car for meth.

Shardul, is the M10 nozzle working for you? I talked with Devils Own yesterday, and they confirmed that is what we should be running. They gave be a 7 as well, and said "Play with it"..

D10 is is the perfect size for a 175 to 180mm pulley. No point getting a D7 i would rather get a D2 instead so in the future if you want to spray pre s/c then D2 is the perfect size.

I think that cat from Renntech with the SL65 posted something about having it in his car at one time. I'm sure you guys would see some nice gaines as most boosted cars do. If I had that TT there would be no doubt in my mind about installing a water/meth kit.
Give it a try and report back.....
