I'll be surrendering the flag to Mo, most likely by mail. I don't think I'll be making the Dec 4th due to previous commitments.....like my 10th year wedding anniversary.

I'm sorry to bring you guys bad news....
I just got confirmation from the track that all of their sources confirm rain this weekend on both days Saturday and Sunday. And although the rain will be intermittent, it makes no sense for us to go out there and take a risk. So the event is now officially moved to Saturday, December 4th.If you can't make it, please PM me. We will re-open the sign-up sheet again until November 27th.
The good news is that in December, Famoso literally sees the BEST DA OF THE YEAR. Hope to see you guys there

Hey guys, remember Budoboy with the red charger from the Sacramento event last year. Well, I just read that he had his car trailered to Atco to run 11-18 through 11-20 and finally broke into the 10's. He ran a 10.84 @ 124!!! His best time at Sac was 11.15 @ 123, hopefully he'll chime in. It looks as though he had to go back east to finally get his beast into the 10's. Great run Jeff!

I wish we would once (only once) see -1800 ft make that -1200 ft or -1000 ft or even -700 ft.... you know what I'd be happy with -400 ft

Mo, for those of use that have never been, what is the protocol for "Stuff"? Is it cool to leave spare wheels, floor mats, cooler etc laying around while we run. I expect that since this is a private event, things are probably safe, but just want to be prepared. Can't wait!!

Regarding theft, it is always a good idea to keep an eye on your items if you can - especially that there maybe a good number of spectators coming this year. When you're not there, ask the person next to you to do so if he can. In general, we all look out for each other's stuff regardless of the situation. We have an amazing group of participants coming and they've all done this before and understand the situation, so I doubt we'll have any problems. In fact, we have not had one single problem with theft or loss of items ever since we started doing this.
The only warning I can give you is that once you attend this private rental one time, you'll literally get addicted to it and will want to come every time. Don't take my word for it, ask around.... some of the participants have attended every single private event we organized

Weather is going to be fine. If anything, there may be a front coming late Sunday, but we will be long gone by then 
The low they are tracking is coming much slower than originally expected, so I think by Wednesday this week, you will see even Sunday is clear.
