Anyone know how many millimeters on the dipstick translates into 8.5 liters of oil?

The part number for the Dipstick is 120 589 07 21 00

thanks for any help.

thanks for any help.

161 mm = minus 0,5l

167-169 mm = oil level correct

175 mm = plus 0,5l

Hope that helps. Info is directly from Mercedes WIS for E55 AMG W211

P.S. According to WIS the wright ammount of engine oil is 8liters without filter replacement and 8,5 liters with filter replacement (and without draining engine oil cooler which also contains additional cca 1 liter). So if you empty oil pan, empty engine oil cooler and put in new oil filter you need cca 9,5 liters of oil (that is what i needed when i did my engine swap (and reflush all coolers (including engine oil cooler).

I got access to WIS and I figured it out. For the 2005 S430 4Matic, engine 113.948 its 120 is full, 98 is minimum and its in millimeters for unit of measure.
