From what I hear, gains from cams are generally not worth the effort although some of the very fast E55 guys are indeed running them. You maybe better off upgrading your 80mm TB to the 82mm version. You should do a lot of research before you proceed with this.
Least mine does anyway.
VERY nice mod list! Only thing I am wondering is who is doing your tune? Tell me you are running tune with all those mods!!??
You would be surprised how much a VRP Style Carbon airbox will open up her lungs. With that kinda power, she is really being restricted by that stock airbox. Forget how much but power jumped pretty dramatically for me when we put on the higher flowing box. Something like 15-20hp or so. That's pretty large when you are scraping for every hp.
Do cams if you want, but for sure you need to get that airbox when you can. AT MINIMUM pop in some K&N's in the stock boxes.
You sound like an guy with a bit of experience in this stuff, you probably are running tune and K&Ns anyway. Just had to ask.

I am from Germany. My car was tuned by as-exclusive.com/ and my ECU was tuned by sportwagenwerk.com/
I forgot to say that I had the original replaced by the K & N already

i know it has larger TB, SLR CAMS, diffrent crankcase. but im not sure about the S/C, my friend replaced his engine with one of them on his SL.
Here are some basics as to why the DTM had more power. The pistons and rods are more in line with the SLR style. The DTM runs a Tri-Y mid length header. The intercooler does not have the bypass valve, so it uses a longer rear mount I/C. I would imagine the ECU is running more of an aggressive map. As for cams and T/B I just don't know. I would suspect it has a 80mm T/B.
On a side note, My friend Chad who runs a big part of Scottsdale lotus. Claims the CLK-TDM Will flat out trash just about anything that comes though his shop on a road course. Other than the Classic laMans race cars they have in there. They have been holding on the a CLK-DTM for a few years. last I checked it only had 500 miles on it.
If anyone is in the Scottsdale Airpark area. You should stop in. That place is sometimes like a classic and exotic car museum.
