the snout also has to be for a 80mm TB kit so the adapter flange to bolt on. Sirboostalot i think can modify the OEM 74mm snout. you may want to contact him.

80mm snout part # A1131400912. You can get the weld on adaptor from speedriven an weld & machine your stock snout or by the 80mm snout & source a bolt on adaptor. PM me if you need the 80mm snout I may have a extra one.

The 80MM hard part will not work without more welding? Would it depend on the TB chosen?

You need to switch pins for the 80mm TB since it opens in the opposite orientation in comparison to stock. 82mm requires an adapter, porting, and some massaging of the 80mm ypipe to work but no switching pins if you buy a MB TB. Hope that helps and good luck

Thanks for the help guys ill be back onces i get all the parts together i got the throttle body so now i need to source a 80 y pipe and need to see if i can machine the factory s/c housing to 80mm or see if i can find one off of a sl55. Does anyone else know if there is any other 55k car that would have a s/c snout that would work?
