Hi I have a S4 K04, dyno'd at 470 bhp and 485 ft pounds at flywheel. what would be my chances against a stock e55 amg?

I don't agree. He's saying 470 at the flywheel, not the wheels. Depending on the factor for the calc, it could be close. Rs4 is smaller, but has the weight of AWD.

Could depend on the hookup.

3 of my friends have k04 cars they all have no problems beating stock e55s.iv seen ko4s trap 120+ all day.I just raced my cousins s4 and beat him by less than a car at around 145 mph where we shut down.

My car had 433whp 460rwt when we raced and he's at 400awhp

Now a pulley and tune on the e55 is a different story lol

I owned a S4 AWE st3 before I had my E55.

This is my gut feel for it.

S4 ST3 > stock E55 off the line.
S4 ST3 < Stock E55 100mph and above.
S4 ST3 < MOD E55. Overall.
S4 ST3 > MOD E55 In the Mountain runs.

E55 owner just needs to run the S4 best of three runs, by the third run the Audi will have broke something, lol I owned one this past summer and in the first 300 miles of owner ship the tranny and clutch broke and that was not even seeing boost. It was my daily driver so I did not want to beat on it, expensive lesson.

I would be willing to offer up my Stage 3+ S4 for some comparisons in San Diego. It runs on 91 plus W/M or E85... I will only do pulls up to 100 mph (not worth the handcuffs past 100). Maybe 1/8 racing at Qualcomm?

lol up to 100??? What is this the 1950's?
If you get caught racing at 20mph you are still going to jail, for racing.

lol our second gear goes to like 85,100 is where the racing starts haha.

I did like 3 pulls with my cousins stage 3 and we told each other that we would shut down at 100 and we ran up to over 150 on all 3 runs.

I looked down and on the last one I was half way into 4th lol

That thing is stripped to the frame. Its a tin can with an engine. Not your typical K04 S4. It has been 10s

Good point!.... I'm on my second engine and 3rd clutch... Engine has been out of the car three times... It's funny (or not) but three years ago when I was looking to purchase either the 2001 S4 or the 2003 my wife said go for the s4 because it was less expensive by about 11 grand.... Only a few months ago, after more maintanence/mods, she turns to me and said "you should have bought that Mercedes."

That's soo true, come to think of it.... my 3rd gear tops out at 97 MPH and 4th gear around 120ish. The problem is that you just can't hammer it around San Diego without the radar detector going nuts halfway into the run.......

The 1/8 mile isn't bad at Qualcomm Stadium but the track is less that perfect (slight uphill) and it comes down to a good driver. My skills are mediocre... I pulled a 8.0 at 91mph on my 91 octane file my last time out..... up until I fused my clutch to the flywheel on the last run...

We would be a good race,im doing the 1/8 in 7.8-8.0 @90-92mph!
