trying to find a better street tire and the invos were perfect for stock power but now first gear is all T/C and power cut.
Looking for some feedback on the nt05s and if you had the invos before them to see what worked better on the street.

This time of year Im always looking for better tires.I might go with the 285/35/18s for my next set. They seem to be the best bang for the buck out there for overall grip and tread life.
got a 12.1 with a 2.1 60ft last wed at 118 lol,my car is so in the 11s if I had some traction

Not true at all, no offense Shardul. The one tire I ran this past summer when I was making 600rwhp/590rwtq in my twin screw cobra is the Hoosier Drag radial. If you daily drive your car or get caught in the rain, this is NOT the tire for you.
I could go WOT in first making the above mentioned power and got zero spin. It just dug and slung shot you. I was running a much wider tire that what the E55 can handle, so that coupled with it been a 17" tire probably made a huge difference. They do make them in a 275 width I believe. Another amazing drag tire is the BFG Drag radial. The make them in a 275-35-18 and it grips super hard, once warmed up maybe harder than the MT. Nitto make ok, drags when compared to BFG, Hoosier and MT. They only down side of running one of those three is that it tends to be so sticky that is picks up alot of road debris and flings it on the under carriage of your car.

When I was on the 180pulley I would DD the car with M/T drag radials,I dont want to run a dr on the street anymore.
The invos were very impressive and maybe the nt05s might just be what im looking for, there tread life is 200 so a little better than the invos 260.Im going to go from a 275/35 to a 285/35 so that might help a little also.

I actually went the other way. I had NT05's and they scared the **** out of me in the rain... Went with Invo's when I got my new wheels and I've never been happier. Only thing I would like more then these are PS2's but I'm more than happy with them for right now.

A treadwear rating of 200 is actually faster-wearing than a rating of 260(maybe that's what you meant?). TW ratings are based on a "standard" tire with a TW rating of 300. My Kuhmos have a rating of 50 and are super soft compared to the 300 rating on the last set of tires I destroyed. Regardless, even when hot my tires will NOT get traction in 1st no matter what, and it just gets worse as the temperature drops. Today it was 60 degrees and I could lay into it in 2nd and go sideways.

Yeah what I ment is they have a softer rubber than the invos so they should stick better but wear out faster.
Like 260 invos 200 nt05 100 555r and 00 nt01rs
My mt drag radials were 00 and I had full traction in first gear on the street ect.

When I'm on a good surface with a straight launch, they're pretty solid and hook hard....

I had nt05's on my s65. They stick well, but with s65, nothing will hold from a dig. At 20mph with the nittos, I could stomp without wheelspin. With the Michelins it's more like 35 before they will hook up. The nittos also stick like glue on on-ramps. I use the car as a daily driver, and I thought the NT05's did a decent job evacuating rain and handled passably well in the rain as long as you treat them with respect and recognize their limitations. They also are much louder, bordering on annoying. The bigger problem: for some reason I could not get them to balance, and yes, I roadforced them a few times and had 6 trips to the alignment shop. I finally gave up and went back the the PS2's. I still have a set of NT05R's for the strip, though.
