side mirror problems, please help!
so I looked around the forum and couldn't find an answer. my side mirror adjustments stopped working about a week ago. it's weird because when you change the memory settings the mirrors move, but when you try to adjust the mirrors using the buttons, it doesn't do anything. anyone know what could be the cause of this and possibly how to fix it?

i would connect it to STAR and check the driver side SAM for any fault codes.

Sounds like the mirror switch is bad or unpluged. The memory settings are in the control unit of the door, and that is what actually moves the mirrors. The switch plugs into the control unit.

Lucky for you, I have a spare switch that I can sell for cheap, if that is indeed the issue. Its pretty easy to pop off the door panel if you have some torx bits and a plastic wedge to pry out a few panels.

Sounds like the mirror control relay, has malfunctioned. It will most likely need replacing.
