Can you provide me some more information about your 2010 RS4?

They're dependent on other contractors to do anything outside of just reselling another mfg's wheels.
to be fair many wheel companies outsource their manufacturing to bigger names. for that matter tons of companies all over the world contract out manufacturing in almost all businesses (shoes, clothes, car parts, food, etc). this is not new. the designs and specs the companies create are property of the company that created them (can somebody say rentech). call MHT and see if they will cut u an ADV1 set. i doubt you will get very far. as a 360 customer i see this as a benefit. part of the problem with 360 was they were using COR to cut the wheels and there were tons of issues. MHT cuts wheels for several companies because they are a big well known wheel manufacturer. this should not be a shocker to anyone and quite frankly is a blessing because if i were to be forced to choose between jordan and MHT for the actual BUILDING of my wheels - i would choose MHT. jordan is a designer, marketer and seller of some particularly nice wheels. he is NOT a guy that turns a wrench (thank god).

its obvious that jordan has pissed off a lot of people with the 360 situation and the way he had conducted himself. i am not affiliated with adv1 AT ALL and not a customer however i have dealt with 360 for 2 years and have interacted with adv1 on other stuff. i have been to jordans office in miami and have interacted with his staff. you can say what you want but the guy designs nice wheels. when and if adv1 starts having the same problems as 360 im sure it will be widely known. for now i personally am unaware of any MAJOR problems with people getting their wheels and IF there are any problems i am sure they are handling it. seems like a lot of reverberation from old times.

Yeah, I realize all that. But the bigger question was whether or not they were using MHT. That was brought up before but never really answered. But you apparently also feel that MHT/Niche is the mfg, too. So, I guess that's now been answered definitively.

+1 ... I got my ADVs from Matt at GMP and he said MHT made the wheels for Jordan.

Sorry for the off topic remark, but the most current RS4 was only made in 2007 and 2008, then Quattro GMBh moved on to the RS6 for 2009.... basically there is only one RS model made from Audi Quattro GMBh on any given year.

It all started with the RS2, then the RS4 2.7tt back in 2001, followed by the RS6 4.2tt, the back to the RS4 in 2007. The next RS to be released after the current RS6 will be the RS5 which will be a 2011 model I believe.

I wish they would have allowed the current RS6 into the states but thats another story...

Yes MHT does manufacture the ADV's.

If you look at a few of the photos of the manufacturing you'll see MHT written on the walls...

As for delivery of the product, so far so good they have never not delivered yet.

I have been researching this topic for a bit, and kept being led back to this thread. I have been drooling over ADV5.1s for months. I just couldn't see spending $5500 on a set of wheels. Then ADV1 came out with Flow Spec, at $700 a wheel, but the sizing didn't fit my ride.
I just purchased a set of Niche Sports off eBay for $670 FOR THE SET!
I am okay with Niche Sport center caps and $4900 still in my pocket!!

Even though this whole situation has a cloud over it, I can't deny the wheel designs are awesome....especially the flowspec/niche sports

Can you post the link of your ebay auction?

I can't do pics yet. The wheels arrive on the 3rd, and I leave for Brazil on the 4th for 6 days. I then go to Europe for 2 weeks. When I get back, and the wheels are installed, I will be sure to post pics.

Same wheels. If anyone is interested, be sure the seller has the wheels in his possession! He said he could get more, but I think he may not have realized that they are no longer being supplied by MHT.

I don't drive a MB, so I don't know what fitment you all are looking for. I searched for a couple of weeks before I found someone who had stock and in a size that would work for me. Well worth the search!!!!

MHT makes very high quality wheels. You will be happy with the Niche wheels.

I lied, I can post a picture, although it is a photochop, not an actual picture. The rears won't be quite so concave unfortunately.

I can't wait to get back from my trip and I haven't left yet!
