Here's my old set up before the facelift and new wheels.

HRE 540R's. Matte Black faces with Gloss Black lips and barrels. I miss these wheels so much.

I'm so torn..... it definitely looks bad *** but crosses the line from elegant to tough which is both good and bad

The E class is elegant and brutal (AMG format) but all black wheels tend to take away from the car's lines and its so called side of beauty. Now Im talking about all black wheels. What I do like and appreciate is the contrast associated with a chrome or polished lip.

All black wheels look great on coupes and certain sports cars and GT cruisers but to me, the E55 needs to maintain that contrast within the wheel.

Again my opinion and I am a fan of black wheels and even have an all black wheel, albeit face forward and on my 997TT.
