Supercharger Removal - Hard??

Anyone do this, and if so, how hard is it?

I read Sharduls write up, and it sounds easy... I am torn: Spend money to have it removed vs. Get greasy, and know what is being done. I have trust issues

Quite a few:)
it's not the Most complicated job but mistakes can be Costly. Fellow I knew dropped a screw down the intake and didn't realize until it was too late.....:-/

How comfortable/proficient are you when it comes to turning a wrench w/ confidence?

No longer stock '06 E55, A3 3.2 Quattro, LRD4 HSE, R107 280SL
Used 2 1" straps ... There are bolt holes at the top of the s/c for chain etc but I could not find bolts that would fit ... Engine lift highly recommend... It's pretty heavy.

2006 E55 AMG --old cars -- E39 M5, 2.7tt Audi S4, E36 M3 **Ducati 996, 748
concept is easy -- just remember where all the hoses and things you disconnect go... lift or friend will be needed... But it is kinda a PITA -- i wouldnt do it for my car -- but i would help someone again -- 2nd time could only be easier
