Hood won't open. Need some help.
Well today I decided to keep the beast Being so excited about that I was going to install my new CF engine cover only I have a little problem with the passenger side latch not popping open. (I know this is my fault because I just fixed the hood latch sensor and I might have pulled the cable a little too much or it came loose)
The lever that comes through the grille will not pop out either so I assume it's a problem with the cable. I honestly don't know how the system works in this car so any help would be great. I really don't want to pay whatever ridiculous cost to have a stealer fix this but such is life so any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!
TIA

Keep it!
Glad to see you are keeping the beast, especially after the conversion.
Just too much car for the money, hard to find anything to compare.
Looks like mine will be kept for life and added to the collection....

If anyone ever has this problem reitmeid's walkthrough is the answer. Thank you so much for the help! I jacked it up, removed the front engine pan, broke off the black plastic cap and clicked the lock right over. The cable just came out of the lock because I wasn't cautious when fixing the sensor. All is good now, except for the hardware Carbonio supplied with the engine cover..... guess that's the next headache to find aspirin for.
Thanks brothers!
I knew you of all people would be the only one disappointed in my decision
