Refinishing carbon fiber???

Contact Marc Chaparrone (I think I spelled his name right). He does all the paint work for James at ACG. He had that CLEAN Grey E55 he just parted out. He claims he's pretty good with Carbon Fiber, he adds an extra coating of clear to it. I can dig his # up tomorrow if you want.

If it gets bad enough they start to chip off. Also, you dont have to buy a new $700 one, you can get the SAME lip for ~$125. I would lift the car, tape it, and just give it a spray of some black paint. Mikey is right, its on the bottom and the black spray on the damaged parts are invisible.

I used to just fill the bottom scrapes in with a black paint pen. That way they were not white so they wouldn't catch your eye from a distance. You would never notice the black unless you got down on your belly and looked for it.

Hold up
Those are all good ways to cover it up, but if it is serious, you can repair carbon fiber.
Here is a link, follow the instructions and buy a kit.
you can also make anything out of carbon fiber with it.
My experience with Dinoc wrapping has lead me to start trying to fabricate my own carbon interior pieces.

check out their kits... they have some videos to walk you through the process so you can get a sense of the process
Good luck
