I miss the C6 that is next to the wagon. Sold it when we moved to Iowa and replaced it with a 996TT (useful in the winter). I like the 996, but I loved the C6.

This is going to seem weird, but one of the parts I really like is the way the struts to hold the hatch are totally enclosed in the ceiling. Most SUVs and wagons, especially with power close, have some big setup that intrudes into the opening. On the W211 wagon there is nothing in the opening at all. The pressure on the arms after the pivot point must be crazy to lift it with only a couple inches of leverage.

There were some cool reflections down the side when I was putting air in the tires tonight with all the different lights in the garage and workshop. Not a great picture, but sort of unique to the wagon.
