Dyno operator asking how to get "RPM reading"?
The dyno operator is asking how to get the car's RPM reading? Something about possibly hooking up to an ignition coil?
Does anybody know what he means or is talking about?
Thanks ... trying to get a couple pulls in while car is warmed up and it's nice and cool outside.

skratch was RIGHT on the money ...
Did two 4th gear pulls, results were as followed. The timing hit HARD after that second pull, car was done.
First pull, 4th, 381rwhp/457rwtq.
Second pull(started losing quite a bit of power), 366rwhp/430rwtq.
I think my HP numbers are a bit low, right? I was hoping in the low 400s?
Overall, I'm very happy with my numbers, 380/457 on my bone stock car.
Now does ANYBODY know how to get OUT of dyno mode? I had no problem getting the car into dyno mode, but now can't get back into normal/regular mode....any help?

I was thinking in the low 400s for HP (400-405 range)
I thought 380 seemed kinda of low, happy with my torque numbers, though. This was done on a Mustang dyno ...
What did you put down?
I still gotta get this damn thing back to normal mode! it's still in dyno...."the ON" for dynameter test should say "off" but it says "ON" ? I did the procedure backwards, it won't change back to normal mode! what gives?

Hey, do you know how to get the car back to normal mode? I think it's still in dyno mode because the "ON" for the dynameter screen is still up ... it shuold be "off" like it was initially...thanks.

MBWorld Fanatic!
400-405 on a dynojet 380 on a mustang all day.
I did 405 stock on a dyno that reads like a dynojet and 385 on a mustang
Sounds like you might have a bad pump tho.it should not loose that much hp on the second run,my car with its new tune made the most power on the 4th pull
