Steering wheel controlled ELM now available!!

As some or most of you know I've worked in conjunction with Loweringmodule.com to help bring a new style of lowering module to the Mercedes market. I'm happy to report the new lowering module called the "M1" is now available!
Overview:

This new style of ELM lets you control and adjust your ride right from the convince of your steering wheel. While displaying your right high settings on your instrument cluster. The M1 creates a new scroll though menu that is easily accessed though a simple prompt. The M1 brings a level of convenience, and stealth to the lowering module market. No more remotes, no more laptops to adjust your ride hight.

You can make adjustments for the front and rear of the car independently. If you desire the front to be lower than the back you can easily call up a setting to meet your ride hight needs. If you need want your car slammed for a car show. It can all be done with some simple touching of the steering wheel. Same goes if you desire your car to be in 4x4 mode for those construction zones that seem to be popping up in random locations.

The lowering module is available though loweringmodule.com the retail price is $1695. However I have worked out a deal with loweringmodule.com to offer you the M1 at $1495 with a coupon code MBH-FHF

Cost: $1695
MBH Motorsports special pricing is $1495*
* special pricing requires the use of MBH Motorsports coupon code MBH-FHF... Please Note: The code is case sensitive
To order the M1 please go here and enter coupon code MBH-FHF to save $200
NOTE: this works with all Airmatic and ABC Mercedes. EXCEPT 2003 SL's

Any idea why it won't work on 03 SL? How about 02 or 03 CL?

What are the installation requirements . . . is re-wiring required or does the unit simply plug into the existing Airmatic module as the V3 Renntech unit does?

Installation is basically the same as the RT unit, except the CAN lines. Those plug directly into the CAN harness located by the floor on either side of the car. So in essence it is a little easier than the rt one.

Thanks. From the video it really appears to be a really well engineered design. I'll give it a try.

I love it. One question, though....when the RAISE button is pressed, with this system in place, does it raise to the factory lifted point or a certain distance above the point you have it lowered to?

Hopefully you bring your car Mike, it would be nice to see the new system and see it run. If not, you better bring that very fast E55 because we need to stay competitive with the MIR crowd....

Is the discount code still viable?
Buying an '05 SL55 tomorrow and looking at buying a lowerign module soon. My friend is a Senior MB Master Tech and warned against the links as they can cause premature failure and possible bottoming out, I like the fact that this is seemless and goes back to factory @ Freeway speeds.
Please let me know ASAP
Thanks!

Already have links, want to keep them will this product work with my links? Lastly I LOVE the BASEMENT look when parked, after install of module & my BASEMENT setting is found will it be SAVED IE just hit steering wheel button to activate my favorite setting height? Or do you have to cycle thru front/rear adjustments every time?

There is NO mention of what settings can/will be possibly saved, ONLY that it reverts to stock @ frwy speed or turned off easily etc.. How many Floors can we save? If @ all? I'll buy if Multi-BASEMENT settings can be SAVED & turned ON simply w/out going thru multi-steering wheel adjustment process to get "Gary Coleman'd"
