Finally...my "new" 2007 e63 has arrived! WOO HOO......
So, I picked up the e63 last night - what an amazing car. She's absolutely flawless with 17,800 miles. Still smells new inside, and not a scratch on her. I was thrilled when I saw her waiting on me.
I havent had much time to play with her, nor search for her outer limits, but so far, I'm impressed beyond belief. Aside from the raw power, I'm really amazed with the luxurious ride and quality of the fit & finish inside the car. Miles ahead of my BMW 550i in terms of luxury and feel.
LOVE the growl of the car in first gear, and the paddle shifters are awesome. I have a feeling I will spend a lot of time in manual mode. Still leery about running my new girl too hard (crazy, I know...) and with time, I will become more agressive with her. I did blow away a Corvette at lunch today who was getting frisky behind me on the on-ramp. Mash the gas pedal, and adios, sucker.
I am going to link a few photos which I uploaded to my old BMW site, just in the interest of expediency. Its the only site I belong to where I can load to the gallery. I suppose I could load them at the gallery here next time. Sorry about that...
Cant wait to explore more about this car...and for all the questions I am sure will still follow.
Thanks to all for your insight and wisdom.

Congrats! I see you are an Indiana guy too! I am on the north side of Indianapolis, so if you are up this way and want to meet up, let me know!
How did you find one with such low mileage?

Thanks to all for the kudos. This car makes life all the more sweet. I cant imagine ever wanting anything different....LOL.
Took a LOT of looking to find such a gem.
I'm in Indy often - will be there next thursday. We should definitely hook up, and maybe get FAAST together with us - a Louisville meet would be in the middle of all 3 of us!
If you're heading up I-65 to Lousiville, do holler. Would love to ge together.

Well congratulations, we have another E63 Driver added to the AMG Family. I remember when I bought my E63, that was glorious day for me. So I, completely understand your feelings and excitment at this point. I know that you can't stop grining from ear to ear when you look at it. I know.......LOL
