Thoughts on PES tuning?
I have the opportunity to have Steve at PES do some work on my E55 (ecu and pulley) which will give some great power gains. I cannot disclose the price, but it is a great deal. He did some amazing work on my uncles's Porsche 911 turbo a couple of years ago. Anyone have any mods done on the E55 by PES?
If so, thoughts?

He's got a good rep. in the Porsche/Audi world, so I'm sure he has access to some quality parts.
Are you in PA? Switzer in Ohio used to be RT's distributor (and supplied them with exhausts, etc. for a while) and they've built some mean 55 Ks. If they're local to you, might be worth checking out, also??

um isnt pes tuning what bruce at tt used to sell and every one swore by them, its funny how every month there is a new master tuner on the forum lol
edit I remember your car and didnt you say that the shop forgot to install the gaskets in the headers at the block and was leaking there? That would explain your a/f being all over the place since the 02s were seeing a huge leak.
I wouldnt blame the tune that fast guys

I think we all went through a couple of tuners before setting in with something we're happy with. I have zero regrets on my mods except for something most recently. It's all about moving forward....
