TSW Donington PS'd on E63
Looking at some wheels in the wheel/tire forum and found some TSW Donington in 19". I asked a buddy to PS them on my wagon. Not sure they're the right style for my car.
Original picture w/factory 18s:

And PS w/wheels:

Opinions?

Think we could get 10" of lip if we went widebody, like this TB I saw at SEMA?

I'm not a fan of the deep lip wheels on luxury rides. The same with oversized wheels. IMO, they look good on custom machines/sportscars, but a plain jane luxury sedan/wagon doesn't pull them off well.

I gotta tell you, D2 Forged wheels are nice. I have a set. But the chrome lip on one is flaking. They are 5 months old, but since they came on the car from the original owner, D2 Forged told me to pound salt on getting them fixed since I did not buy them new. For the price of these wheels, I dont care how many owners in 5 monhts there have been, they should warranty a chrome peel. IMO their customer service is crap and I would never but a set of these. DPEs and HREs would be my choice. I also loved my IForged.

I think the perseception is that since you own a benz you need 5k multi piece wheels to be cool. J/K
There is nothing wrong with TSW just have to pick the right wheel for the car. The ones you picked dont look so good. They do look cheap. Perhaps look at Petrol they are a division of TSW.

I got shady customer service with D2 as well. They just want your $$$ and make excuses. My next set will be DPE or HRE. Either from a prior owner or a different sponsor.
