Sl55, cl55, cls55 mufflers on e55
Has anybody done this to their e55. If so was there a change in sound? I wish the e55 sounded like the other 55 AMG's.

gut the mufflers and you will get the sound you want
i know for a fact the CL55 have a straight through design. The E55 ones have a U and S bend in them.

O that's why they all sound louder than our cars. Thanks for the input! Does anyone have cl55, sl55, or cls55 mufflers laying around. I will buy them and sell my e55 mufflers. Videos?

Delete your 2nd cats and resonator and you will be much happier. I dont know about other 55 mufflers on a E55 but heres a clip of my exhaust.

Still the stock E55k exhaust does find its voice once it warms up...if you don't mind blipping the throttle gratuitously...!
