Air Filter Cover Screws for 06 E55
I was just curious as to whether anyone knew a source for an air filter cover screw. I lost one the last time I changed my air filters and forgot all about it until today when it was time for me to change them again. I looked on EPCnet and also called a local MB dealer but still can't locate a part number...
Does anyone who changed their air intakes have one laying around or does anyone know a part number?

I am very familiar with that website, as I order almost all of my parts from there... How can I find this item on this site? I have even called RBM of Atlanta (genuinemercedesparts.com is just the online parts department of RBM of Atlanta) prior to starting my thread and they were unable to locate the part... My local dealers cannot seem to find a part number either... I did an extensive search on EPC-net and couldn't find a thing... The only ones they show aren't for the E55...

Guys very silly question but on topic. I had the dealer put in my K&N's but now that I want to clean them myself how the heck do I get to them?
Again sorry it's such a dumb question.
Thanks.

Lift the engine cover off at the the front of the engine to reveal all of the screws (torx bit). Remove all six screws on the air filter housing on each side (at least for an 06 E55) and lift them up revealing the air filter.

You can pick up a recharge kit from your local napa/auto parts place. Just make sure you DONT soak the filters and let them dry out a bit before installing them back in.
