I've been on the fence on getting a set of Meisterschafts (used of course) for my ride but other than the bad @ss sound, is there anything gained power or flow wise from having these mufflers?

I have heard you loose a little power with these.

no loss of power. u will if u remove the resonator with straight pipes for sure. the torque down low is noticably weaker and not as violent.

^^ What if you replace it with a X-pipe? Will you still lose the torque?

That's what I did and I feel like I lost a substantial amount of low-end torque. But it pulls in the high end.

Def don't lose any power from resonators.

Maybe Cats.

Secondary cats? Because I did cut Resonators and Secondary Cats and replaced it with 3.5" piping.

You will pick up top end HP typically if you loose TQ down low.

3.5? That may be great for a turbo engine, but major torque killer on ours, unless you are running a 180 pulley and supporting mods.

What size pipes would you suggest? Thinking about picking up some eisenmann or meisterschaft. Right now I got some Borla mufflers with a 2nd cat delete and resonator delete. The mufflers sound killer, but I feel like it's generating too much heat back to the engine.

I would recommend 3" max. I have a custom X pipe close to where the original crossover was, secondary cats and res delete. I don't think I lost any torque with my setup. I actually spend more time driving in C mode now.

Actually you do. I had it done and the pedal when compressed takes longer to build up power than before in the low RPM's.

Can anyone list pros and cons if adding these Meistershcaft mufflers with an x-pipe, h-pipe or straight pipes along with both cats and resonator delete? I would think there would be power to be gained if adding these mufflers. Would they be loud? Any droneing? I found a used set and was debating on whether I should get them or not.
