'07 E63...can I add OEM side sun shades to rear doors? Anyone done this?

My '06 E63 came with almost everything, but for some reason it did not have the side sun shades for the rear doors, it just had the power one for the rear window. I have a 17 month old daughter who rides in the back, and I would like to make it as dark as possible back there for when she sleeps. Has anyone added the OEM rear door sun shades to their car before? How hard is this to do, and what parts do I need to buy to make it happen? The windows are already tinted dark, so this is the last stage in my 'sleeping baby' modification process. Thanks for the help!

Also, anyone who has pictures of their sunshades up or down, I would appreciate seeing the pictures so that I can get a visual on this too. Thank you.

It's definitely possible. I think MJ50 is thinking about doing this through MBenzNL.
The main thing is getting new door panels with the cutouts to replace your current ones to allow the shade to come up.

Check my thread here for a photo of what it looks like pulled up:

You can get door panels with rear shade at a junkyard or Ebay, prices between $250 - $350 so will be a $700 mod... or get a window shades at any parts store for $25 a pair...

Thank you. I just noticed it said you are in Indianapolis. Any chance I could swing over and check out your car and see how this mounts up?

Also, what about the hook that it mounts to?

I don't particularly like the rear side sun shades. Rather than spend $700 or whatever, just put a dark tint back there and call it a day. Just my $.02.

Already dark tinted. Baby Girl likes more shade though.

You will also need either the upper door inner molding for both sides if you do the junkyard or Ebay route in order to hold the shade up or order 2 of each of these: A2118120414(bracket) and A0019905122(bolt).
