Climate Control Question.
Hi everyone.
Here is what I am experiencing on my 05 E55.
The drivers side air temp and passenger air temp are the same regardless of the temp indication. For example, if the drivers side is set to 65 and the passanger is set at 80. The temp of the air coming out is the same, around 65. But here is the kicker. If I raise the passenger temp to the highest setting, it will start to blow hot air and the driver side will stay at 65.
I am assuming this is not normal. Any ideas?
Thanks
Mike

I've found that the best way to keep me cool while keeping her warm is to turn her seat heater on, and close all of the vents on her side. I put the a/c on very low, turn my seat fan on, and that usually works.

I think you are in a 4 door medium sized car and the two sided climate control is a stupid joke anyways. Maybe put a rubber curtian down the middle of the car and it will work! LOL

Run the diagnostics
if your ac system has that feature.
Temps should closely match settings. If it gets warm when set to high your duo valve is likely stuck on that side.
Give it a tap with the handle of a screwdriver not a denting blow just a firm tap. That often frees up a stuck valve.
