Hopefully pics tomorrow with them on the car with the tires. I'll weigh the whole setup front and rear before mounting, too. I know people always ask about weights

Just got them mounted and balanced. Going to head out and throw them on the car in a few minutes.

First place I went didn't want to touch them. They didn't like the lips and said the 275/30 would be tough to do without scuffing the lip. They also wanted $70/wheel to mount and balance - WTF?! The good part was they recommended another shop around the corner with a better machine and more experienced techs.

Got there, they were mounting the first tire before I had the wheels and tires totally out of my Burb. Plus, $25/wheel! It was $100 even and the wheels were perfect when I picked them up. Tipped the wheel guy $20 and was on my way.

I'll post pics of them on the car in a few mins.

I can't believe I just saw this. If the wheels are still at this price everyone should buy at least one as a full size spare!!!

Ditto here. Just checked parts.com and it looks like price has gone up slightly.

Anyone got the offset on these?

Wonder if they will fit a CLS55

Here is a pic I found on MB website from the SL550 build your own. Is this the wheel?

Not the same wheel. These are a split spoke design.

This is directly off the wheels:

19x8.5 ET35
19x9.5 ET40

Great find, are these the same finish and color of the original e55 wheels or is it just a normal silver?

I was hoping that they looked like the oem finish but for the price we can't be to picky.

Now to decide which tires to get. Is there a reason you aren't running the 255/285 ? The rims specify that as the tire size but I really haven't had the chance to research tires that much.

They have oem rear rotors for $49 each as well which I assume is a good price.

Talking

Damn I hate you guys

I just had to order a set too

I ordered a square set up (I guess just the fronts) - 19x8.5s for my W211 4Matic. Seems like a perfect fit. Wheels look great.

Total came up to $576 + a very reasonable $86.40 for ground shipping and a $2 handling fee.

What an awesome deal esp for OEM wheels.

A big thank you to the OP for the discovery

Looking forward to mounting these on.

Yes, they're actually SL550 optional wheels with slightly different offsets than the SL55 wheel offsets. They will mount up on a SL55 as is, and clear the AMG brakes, but to match the SL55 offsets, you can bump the wheels out with hubcentric wheel spacers (5mm front, 10mm rear). Don't forget to buy matching longer wheel bolts (ball style) to use with the spacers.

We put them on our new shop car

We just got an E55 as our shop car to develop some CF interior parts. Cruising the E55 section to learn more about it, I saw this thread. I thought the black car on the first page was nice and couldn't pass up the deal. I think they came out real sharp and look great on a silver car. They fill out the fenders and I did not notice any ride comfort difference.

I spoke to the company that is filling the parts.com orders and he said they had sold over 20 sets and had maybe 15 left. Although that was two weeks ago.

Ford F150 Supercrew 4x4 and Nissan 350Z Stillen Supercharged
Just got my tires mounted on the wheels and installed on my car. Can't beat having less then $1400 in a brand new quality set of wheels and tires. Found some Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3's that were brand new on Ebay for $805 shipped (245/35/19's & 275/30/19).
