During the blizzard in the north east, my E63 looked a little worst than that. It took two washes to get that dam salt off. But it was me that was driving....

Agree fully. My wife has taken my E63 and our other cars to visit her relatives up north and I couldn't care less whether the car is clean or not so long as she has a good time and gets there and back safely.

If you are going to do the calipers in yellow, black out the red part of the tails and keep the clear part. That will make it completely evil!

same problemo here. winter kills the cars paint, thank god i sent a hot and cold water pipe to the man cave garage. i just hate how much salt sticks... i also try to get an undercarridge spray at least 1-2 times a week.

its just a piece of metal, who cares. You got it cleaned, it looks fine.
Funny you mention resale value. These cars drop like such a rock, I don't think a few particles of dirt/salt are going to have much of an effect.
