Hell- I'm still trying to find a decent priced 'stock' rotor. I have seen the zimmermans but only front and not rear. I hear a recommendation somewhere.

Just found Genuine MB rotors...$472.96 (before shipping & taxes)...

http://www.koperformance.com/catalog...rake-Disc.html

Genuine parts for less than the aftermarket ones. Hmmm.

Probably need the sensors (I'd guess) - those are $7 (ship free) and some change.

And pads - $253.30 (ship free) for Genuine.

Get your rotors at parts.com, that's what I'm going to be doing. Fronts are $93 each and rear are in the $80 range. Cheapest I've found and these are genuine OEM MB E55 rotors.

Thanks.

If I recall Alex, parts.com had multiple listings and only states 03-06 E class. Which ones actually work for our cars?

I say go with stockers. My local indy quoted me 110 for the fronts and 95 for the rears.

Johncy2000,

What did you use to smoke your tail lights? Looks good. Thinking about doing that on mine.

I used NHT niteshades spray and taped off the reverse and signal lights. You can find it at your local Kragen auto parts.

Be advised that Zimmerman makes two different rotors for our cars. One is coated to help with rusting (like the OEM ones) and the other is not.
The "hats" on the non-coated ones rust almost immediately.....ask me how I know

Spring for the extra $30 to get the OEM's.

Just giving this thread a bump if anyone is looking for OEM front rotors(from dealer) for an E55, I got a new pair together with front Akebono ceramic pads if anyone would make a fair offer.
