Cool Have anyone heard of GMAC aftermarket warranty?

Have you guys ever heard of GMAC aftermarket warranty? I'm searching for a good aftermarket warranty for my 55 and a friend of mine recommended this company. Please chime in if you have any info about GMAC!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, he got a quote for me through a finance person ---- 4yrs/48K miles for roughly $4K. Does this sound reasonable?????

Thank you,

Mike

I used them for my SL and had no problem whatsoever with them. They cover all the dealership prices and do not try to hustle you with used or aftermarket parts. They provide you with a rental for 5 days and $25 max, but there were several instances where mercedes had to keep my car longer like one time 3 weeks and GMAC covered the whole rental bill. They always approved all service and sometimes did it right over the phone so the shop didn't have to wait for an adjuster to come out. Bottom line they're legit.

Thank you for the responded!

On their website, it seems like they don't cover a lot of things such as air suspension, trim,...etc. How much did you pay for your warranty? The price quote from above is for 2006 SL55 with 38xxx miles.

They replaced my passenger side rear shock and every single control arm. From what I remember on the brochure they only had a list of 15-25 items that they do not cover and most of them were body parts. They did replace my window switch that i broke off by accident. Not sure if they changed some things around in the new contracts from 2.5 years ago, but I never had them decline any of my claims. I just picked up my E55 today and plan on calling them soon. I paid 2400 for the 3 year 36,000 mile. The dealership I bought from hooked me up since that was the third benz I bought from them

I financed the warranty with the car so I'm not sure if they do.

Are these prices negotiable? I talked to fidelity 3 days ago and they said that they don't have a set price for whatever coverage you're looking for. In addition, they said that they don't give out quote and that I have to go through the dealership. Knowning stealerships, they can charge as much as they want!
