Race: e55 vs 95 Civic Hatch Turbo 500hp
I was out cruisin last night, and I notice this guy beating all other cars. Since I can never get a nice race, i decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, he kept up pretty well from 40-170. He's running a fully built Turbo Charged LS/VTEC. He claimed about 500hp/300trq on his last dyno. I had a look at his engine, and it was done up to the T.

I know I shouldn't be racing civics and what not, but I can never get a race when they see the amg badge. Plus, some of these civic can haul ***...

Don't sleep on the turbo'd Civics....I know of quite a few prowling the NY/NJ/CT area that run well into the 9s&weigh under 2000lbs...they destroy many unsuspecting "nicer" cars..of course they are just purpose built streetrace cars but regardless,they do the damn thing and hustle a lot of money from people

that "slow" civic, it would destroy your CLK500 "amg."
Respect should be given where it's due. Albeit that turbo lag was a major losing factor in the race, the distance didn't seem to enlarge after the civic was up and running.

my cousin had a race built civic hatchback and the day he pulled up to my house i couldnt stop laughing until he took me for a spin , Besides the fact that the car felt like it was on rails it was seriuosly fast .
hence i never laughed at him again , Even when he rolled up with a srt neon
. Just kiddin then i couldnt stop laughing too!
