need MB star specialist...
.
Hi got a MB star yesterday and can not find where to change on the dash from Farenheit to celcius. my car is a 07 and this can not be done with the stearing wheel

Star does have a simulation mode. It allows you to play and pretend without messing up the car. Look for SIM mode on the laptop...or Simulator..something like that.

Not sure if you found it yet, but WOW is it way in there.
Okay get to the part of Star where if offers you the options of Quick Test etc and click on "Control Unit Groups"
Then click as follows
Information And Communication/ Instrument Cluster/ Control Unit Adaptations/ Variant Coding/ Key Dependent Storage/ Then click Configuration for Key "X" with x being whatever keys are available. 1 or 2 etc.
Then you will see a list of things you can change for that Key....one of which is F to C. DONT FORGET to click the button to "Transfer Coding" or something like that. It is either on that page or the page previous. Think it says F5 on it. You'll see it. You have to code the car or it won't take.
Lemme know if you have any trouble.

I have a 2011 E350 from the US, can someone please explain to me how to get deep into these so called settings on the computer??
