Wheels rubbing (20")

Well not on my benz, but on my wifes 335.

I know i know go post on bimmer forum right lol, naw I like this forum :P Plus its really a generic problem...

Rears are a 20x10 on 285/25/20 tires, also I have a hr race drop 09 335i sedan.

On the slightest dip/bump in the road, the rear outside tire wall slightly hits the top part of the fender liner... (not the metal) however, it seems to be also slightly cuting the tires sidewall in the process...

What are my options?

Would a 275/30 275/25 tire help?

Possible to have a few mm shaved off the rims hub from a wheel specialist?

Adjust negative camber? (Rather not, for the tires sake)

Any suggestions would be great. Btw rolling the fender wont help, because its not hitting the metal part...

Thanks boys

I personally think it'll work if you go with one size smaller. (275 in the rear). Then again, I'm no expert

The rims look sick on the car Tony! Hope you enjoy them..I personaly would go the camber route. A little more camber should do it. Just get your wife to drive the car harder around corners and it should wear nice and evenly..haha..

Nitto makes a 275/25/20 in the INVO. Don't know how much you're lookin to spend though.

Lolz... thanks for the wheels!

Somebody suggested having the fenders rolled and pulled... Going to Advance tomm, see what they can do...

I really really dont want to do the negative camber, as on the last rims, the tires gotten eaten fast

Rolling and pulling the fender might help, but most likely you will have to go down a size. 295s are some meats! But the car does look sick!

I would try rolling and pulling first if the rub is not too bad. if that does not work, step down one size on the tires
