I think I will have my shop do the cutouts right infront of the mufflers. I plan to do a primary cat delete, secondary cat delete with x pipe install. I will post sounds clips ASAP for you guy guys.

Tbal, you are who inspired me to get them, loll. These are the exact same as your except they have to be manually opened and closed. I did not want electric because of the hassle of bad motors and butterflies not closing completely over time. Some have that issue, some don't.
The way it works Mikey is that they will weld both of the open ends to the catback pipe. The piece going off at a 45 degree angle is what will generate the sound. If that is bolted closed as in the pics, exhaust will sound normal. If the closed end is unbolted, it will sound like straight pipes

these boost activated cutout wastegates won't fail though. They are used to dealing w/very intense heat. Could also open or close them w/ a switch.

I have been using E-Cutouts for years with no issue. They are a great thing to have at the flick of a switch your wide open, and next your quiet as can be. Worth every penny in my book. Nice pickup, I also gained 15WHP just by opening the cutout on my old 600WHP Acura.

It is going to be really loud with the cutouts open. I've been running around with basically open headers the past few days and it sounds disgusting. I hate it. I want my car quiet

Blackbenz, sent you a pm, the cutouts I bought are not going to work so I am chopping the Amy mufflers if you are still interested in buying them.

Cutouts are an amazing exhaust mod! I have a set of my corvette with a 427ci and it's str8 pipe thru the cutouts. I gained 21rwhp and 12 rwtq open vs closed.
To the Op: you're gunna get tired of manually opening and closing the cutouts. Why not spring for the elec version now?
And ps, don't buy qtp, they are horse****. Their motors constantly burnout. I have had to replace my qtp motors 4x EACH! that's 8 times, $40 each time. Qtp has crap for customer relations too, I have had to fit with them to fix everytime. And they won't warranty them out.
Try DMH cutouts. Those are amazing!
Also, how are you planning on removing primary cats and dealing with 02 sensor feedback to ecu? U will set off CEL if no cat is there. Unless u can tune it out?

Well at the track i ran 12.73 cutouts closed. 12.52 cutouts open... When the cutouts are open the car feels more torquey or it could just be the sound making me think that. Haha
