2003 E55 AMG
Did I do good?
2003 E55 Brilliant Silver, Distronic, parktronic, Dynamic seats, Pano roof.
New 2009 E63 wheels (OEM), New Hankook V12 tires OE sizes
Had Fletcher Jones MBZ go over the car and it is good to go except a clunky drivers front Strut. Have a rebuilt one from Arnott ready to go in.
Got it from a dealer who bought it at auction, he wanted 18 and I got it for 17k since it needed a strut and he even had new front brake pads installed for me. At that price I acted very fast.
Got a hold of the previous owner and got a bit of history on the car and it is totally legit, no accidents or damage!! Carfax and autocheck are clean.
had a new trans and radiator @ 50k miles under warranty.
Extended warranty for 2yr 24k miles was $2700 with my credit union.
Figured I would drive it till the warranty is up and get a newer E63.
Friggen AMG fun for a Hyundai price.
Oh and it has 93k miles...
Cheers!!

GREAT Job! Looks to be in excellent condition. Well done for doing your homework too. Other newbies need to take a page out of your book!

Looks like a nice car for a nice price. I suggest you don't plan for the ownership experience to be as inexpensive as a $17K Hyundai. Plan on more maintenance, more repairs, and expect to go through some tire rubber. Have fun and enjoy, but be sure to have a few dollars in the kitty for when the AMG needs some attention.

Just planning on putting 3-4k miles a year and selling once the ext warranty is up.
