Bleed system? Kinked hose at the pump?
The only thing I would caution people with is trying to log more than one parameter at a time. There has been some discussion about the ELM not being able to read multiple parameters at the same time with any decent refresh rate.
However, it does seem like it is worth it just for clearing any codes that may arise.

This particular app isn't yet available for iPhone, but a quick search of the app store brought me to this DashCommand app:

Looks pretty promising:

This part is cool:

The downside is that it's fifty bucks, but since I have a $25 iTunes gift card, I might try it out.

What should Throttle % read when the car is idling? Mine is showing 3.9% at idle in gear which doesn't seem right. Do I need to recalibrate my TPS or something? What values are you guys seeing for Throttle %? I'm using the ELM 327 with Torque on a Droid RAZR.
For those with android you can download from google the "blackmart alpha" software, with this app you can download any paid app for free (cracked), the dashcommand is included
I remember seeing a post from AMGFan a while back where he had a really sweet looking software/hardware setup that was aesthetically better than the dashdaq but can't remember the name of it.
Just got a new andriod phone so got this running. What IATs would you say are normal? I did a few quick runs today and mine were showing low 90's and high 80's when its only 46 degrees out.
Thoughts?

Hey, can you share your Wi-Fi settings in DashCommand for me? I have an Wi-Fi adapter but could never get it to communicate only via the Elm BT adapter. I have a Nexus 7 tablet.
Agreed. I have the two adaptors both a BT and a Wi-Fi version. I can connect successfully with the BT Elm adapter but wanted to try and connect the Dashcommand with the Wi-Fi version. So, can you please share the settings you are using with the Wi-Fi version?
thanks
thanks
i tried some of the Ebay link posted in the thread but most of them already ended sells.
can someone please post a link for the OBD bluetooth device which already tested and is working good ? (my car is 03' E55).
thanks guys!

Any one had managed to get the following readings with the torque app?
- Ambient temperature
- Engine oil temperature
- Current Gear
- Injection Quantity
- Oil pressure
With torque pro I can get everything I need including AFR and trans oil temp, but except the above ones, that would made this tool perfect!

My understanding of this is the trans communicates in a different protocol so it might not be easy to get an app that can handle this....?
It would be fantastic if one could though anybody know? As id be all over this if i can get trans temp as i have an aftermarket cooler.
EDIT: looks like gaiex has trans temp working on torque pro.

I have trans temp reading very accurate, as is the same sensor that my SDS4 reads as I have checked.
In torque pro you can load the predefined set of PIDs from "Chrysler/dodge/Jeep/Mercedes" in the options on "manage extra PIDs/sensors"
The correct PID depending the car will be:
"transmission temp (jeep pre 2012)"
"transmission temp (jeep 2012 and later)"
"transmission temp (crysler/dodge)"
or loading "others" predifened set:
"transmission temperature (method 3"
Now for a good data logging and better ECU tune I'm missing:
- Ambient temperature
- Engine oil temperature
- Current Gear
- Injection Quantity
- Oil pressure
(also add/change the 80-120kph to 100-200kph time if possible)
I found this information but I'm not a geek for this:

http://torquebhp.wikia.com/wiki/How_..._extended_PIDs
http://www.outilsobdfacile.com/obd-mode-pid.php
http://torqueloganalyzer.blogspot.pt...on-torque.html
Any geek
out there that can understand how these PIDs thing works and search for the PID's we really need?
PS: I currently have on my 2008 CLK320CDI:
-rpm
-speed (gps and OBD)
-accelerator / load
-MAF
-Fuel rail pressure
-O2
-AFR
-Intake pressure
-CAT temp sensor 1
-CAT temp sensor 2
-Intake temp
-Coolant temp
-Trans fluid temp
and some more I don't use

What TPS % are you guys seeing at WOT? If I push the pedal to the floor, I'm seeing a max of 96.5 % in Torque. Should it be 100% and could I have a bad or miscalibrated TPS sensor? Want to be sure I'm not leaving power on the table.
